The right to life, the right to
self-determination, the right to physical and mental integrity, the right to
clean air, the right to water - what connects fundamental human rights and
climate changes? We will ask this question to our guest, Adam Bodnar.
Adam Bodnar - PhD in Law, Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Social
Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. Ombudsman since 2015. Graduate of the
Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He also
completed the LL.M. programme in the field of comparative constitutional law at
the Central European University in Budapest. For years, he has been involved in
human rights advocacy. He has also cooperated with a number of non-governmental
organisations, including the Panoptykon Foundation, ClientEarth Polska and
Prof. Zbigniew Hołda Association. In the years from 2010 to 2015, he was the
Vice President of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. In 2020, the book
entitled "Obywatel PL" [Polish Citizen], which is an interview
conducted by Bartosz Bartosik with Adam Bodnar, was published (Mando Publishing
House).
