Radical Polish Ansambl bring about a unique encounter between traditional rural music and modern sound experiments. The band combine old playing techniques, learned directly from the countryside masters, with the bold concepts of contemporary music. Their concerts feature both Polish folk melodies in innovative arrangements and pieces by contemporary composers inspired by pure folk.

The band navigate the junctures of tradition and avant-garde, forgoing rigid musical notation in favour of organic communication and improvisation, which makes each concert an exceptional event. Their tunes have the energy of old village bands, but a fresh, experimental approach to sound is also palpable there.
