 At the 18th edition of the Ethno Port Festival, you will have the opportunity to set out on an extraordinary musical journey into the traditions of Moravia! With the unique project called Hrubá Hudba, Petr Mička (Czech violinist and folklore researcher from the Horňácko region) and Jiří Hradil (Czech musician, composer, producer, and member of the band Lesní zvěř) will introduce their listeners to the world of the raw, archaic songs of Horňácko, laced here and there with modern arrangements. This concert will combine two musical realms: the authentic sounds of traditional singers from the region and contemporary inspirations with world music, electronic music, and hip-hop.

On stage, we are going to see and hear the Horňácko music by Petr Mička and members of Lesní zvěř, who have breathed new energy into these melodies. The voices of the past will merge with innovative sounds. Can folklore and electronics create a harmonious whole? The Hrubá Hudba project proves that they can! Get ready for hypnotic rhythms, profound emotions and no less deeper sounds.
