Oh Voyage (Turcja/Holandia)
Oh Voyage is made up of two souls from Istanbul, now rooted in Poznań and Rotterdam. They crossed paths in a studio in 2018 and shortly afterwards embarked on a tour of Central Europe, discovering that one of the most important things they have in common is a love of travel and adventure.
Oh Voyage is a sound born of earth and sky, a living story formed from the dust and mists of Anatolia. Their music is a caravan drifting through time and terrain — where microtonal guitar and oud converse with digital textures. It’s a syncopated downtempo form where dub meets psychedelic haze.
The strength of this project lies in its timbre. It is a transformation of sounds of traditional instruments through electronic filters. The familiar timbres of the oud or duduk are reshaped, refracted, and reimagined, creating a space that feels both rooted and weightless.
